<p>DP Steven Sebring used the black and white Epic for this fashion short. I like the way he explores low-contrast monochrome images.</p>
<p>The monochrome Epic was reportedly developed by Red at the suggestion of director David Fincher. I saw the Epic monochrome at Gokinema in January 2013. Since all the pixels contribute to the same monochrome channel, the camera should be sharper than its Bayer-pattern color counterpart.</p>
